Teresa Bergen is a Portland, Oregon-based freelance writer who specializes in travel, health and fitness. She has a BA in journalism and an MFA in fiction writing. Her work has appeared in publications ranging from the fascinating but obscure Reptiles & Amphibians to more recognizable titles like the Saturday Evening Post, Travel+Leisure and the South China Morning Post.
