Los Angeles photographer and author Robert Landau is best known for his iconic images and books regarding the culture, history and lifestyle of his native city. His bestselling book, Rock N Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip (Angel City Press), was drawn from photos he made as a teenager. Praised in the New York Times Book Review, the book is currently being made into a documentary film.

Landau works as an editorial and documentary photographer, particularly in the travel realm. He has teamed up on several occasions with CBS Travel Editor and East-West News Service Contributor Peter Greenberg, providing still coverage for the Royal Tour Series seen on PBS. His photographic profiles include Jordanian King Abdullah ll, President Felipe Calderon of Mexico and New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark.

Between assignments, Landau is working on a new book that will compile a lifetime of imagery made in and around L.A. His photographs have been published and exhibited worldwide and he maintains an extensive file of historic and stock imagery related to his travels.
